Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Pro is a company-class UniFi controller in rack format that offers a robust and fast firewall as well as UniFi Protect controllers for cameras and doorbells. It has a built-in Gigabitswitch for the nearest devices and also has an SFP + port that supports speeds up to 10 gigabits. Quick firewall
With an integrated Quad-core ARM Cortex A57 at 1.7 GHz and 4 gigabytes of DDR4 memory, Dream Machine is really fast. With IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) enabled, it has a bandwidth of up to 3.5 gigabits per second (measured with iperf3). With a 10-gigabit connection and only a standard firewall, it can provide a bandwidth of up to 8 gigabits! It is not only fast, but also functional. It has a built-in VPN server, easy management of VLAN, automatic QoS for prioritization of eg video calls plus filtering of IP addresses based on the country they come from. Do not want traffic from China at all? Easy to filter out!
