This adapter by Delock enables the connection of up to four serial devices via a USB Type-A port.

• Chipset: FT4232HL, SP3078EE
• 4 x DIP switch: RS-422/485 operation setting
• Internal pin header: jumper switch terminator on / off
• Serial connector with nuts
• Data transfer rate up to 1 Mbps
• LED for indication of TxD / RxD activity
• Automatical recognition and switching between RS-422 and RS-485
• ±15 kV ESD protection on all signal pins
• Wall mounting integrated in the housing
